The Economy, Stupid

If you didn’t get the news: Apple is suing OpenAI for intellectual property infringement. It was pretty brazen, done by former Apple employees who jumped to OpenAI.

Try doing an IPO with that up in the air!

Now we know why we didn’t see much AI by Apple; they knew about this some time ago and they would say: “Well, we WERE working on AI but some of our employees walked down the street, blew off their confidentiality agreements, and handed it all over to OpenAI!”

The bubble has popped! I’m sure Bessent, Trump, and Wall Street hypesters PLEADED with Apple to not do that lawsuit!

I can GUARANTEE you that if I had posted this pretty obvious analysis on youtube, google would have shadow-banned[1] it! Who’s going to see it here? Maybe the Turks, and they add that question to a show. But don’t be shocked, Cenk, if that question gets your video removed from youtube feeds! Hence my suggestion here to prevent that:

What’s left for tech to get excited about now, since quantum is still a ways off from being commercially viable? Code auditing and competitive and open payment systems that use decentralized id with legal intermediaries. That’s a much heavier lift than AI slop -not that all AI is slop- but the payoff is much bigger…
