What many miss is the treatment of inflation as an aggregate number. Our mercedes benz coups will be inflated? Who cares?? Our food costs will be inflated? People who work for a living care. When they devised tariffs as a money mugging scheme, not caring a wit about the damage to long-term beneficial trade relations, the Trump grifters completely knew the working class would have to immediately pick up the tab. Much of the inflation is targeted at the working class. It’s just all part of the calculated sadistic agenda of some very sick and Evil people.
