This is an analogy for Trump’s shtick: when something fails him, he immediately jumps to another even more grandiose delusion -Trump Steaks…tariffs will reshore jobs and be making trillions for Americans…and now Venezuela. When that doesn’t work out, he will immediately charge off to the next even more delusional thing, to distract from the current obvious failure (nudging and winking to a small circle in on the grift to push it to cult members and rubes…) Most of the media normalizes the behavior to remain profitable. How’s PBS Newshour doing now that PBS will be shutting its doors? (but ironic that they couldn’t report on any Israeli involvement with Epstein…)
I would liken it to the actions of a desperate man jumping from stone to stone in a raging river.
Eventually the stones run out if you didn’t plan a path well -and it’s obvious he doesn’t! He just always counts on magical thinking and manipulation of the suckers to try and see his way through it…
