TYT Army’s Weekly Bias/Propaganda Watch List (July 19, 2021)

Hello TYT friends! Here is a new list of media claims for which to watch, courtesy of TYT Army:

Nina Turner’s race :woman_climbing: The establishment is slinging attack after attack at Nina, including propping up her opponent, disinformation about her policies, and misinformation about her funding sources.

Ignoring Joe Manchin’s conflicts of interest :oil_drum: As shown by the Exxon Mobil lobbyists, our politicians are for sale. Are the media saying anything at all?

Bipartisanship :performing_arts: Mitch McConnell has said he won’t have any of it. Will the media continue to act like it’s a possibility? Will they push back on Democrats who act like it’s possible?

Privatization in the infrastructure bill :bridge_at_night: The media is not talking about the privatization of infrastructure (“asset recycling”) that’s included in the bipartisan infrastructure bill.

Coronavirus variants and the global impact :mask: The thread is still there, and the CDC is not tracking mild breakthrough infections. The media is not talking about “long COVID” cases, the lambda variant, or the possibility of new variants emerging. Watch for fear mongering and repeating right-wing talking points about masks requirements in school.
