Both are love songs.. one about a person.. the other about our “freedoms” being ignored, which leads my brain back to the simple love of life. Not enough of us experience either.

I challenge you; listen to that song and contrast to most autotune crap we now have -most of the music today is crap (and where I have been able to find relatively good recent music that doesn’t use autotune, I have posted it -like The Killers…) So while I know older music, it’s not like I’m in a time warp…

No i 100% agree and that version was sick as. The way i see it is you can have fun with all the gadgets and tuning, or like most artists now adays, they use it to fake talent and sellout to the most popular noise at the time. For example there has been studies on what phrases make a song more popular, so instead of writing good lyrics artists just write the most appealing CRAP for the masses. Sad.

I saw that skit when it was originally performed live, and it still makes me laugh out loud! 
I once texted a friend that I had a fever and that the only prescription was more cowbell. They’d never seen the skit and thought I was having a stroke!
