Yes I am. Being crafty brings me joy. A couple of months ago I brewed my first batch of mead. I went a little outside the box and brewed it with rooibos (a delightfully earthy herbal tea). Beer is my comfort zone, so this was a new challenge for me.
My wife and I decided that now is the time to crack it open and celebrate. Dude, it’s really good. I had a legitimate “I can’t believe I made this” moment. There’s something beautiful about challenging yourself and finding success in the end. I’m really proud of what I made.

I just had an idea for this coming week’s(10/29/24) Operation Joy. Cenk, since we know there won’t be an Operation Joy on Election day how about doing an Operation Joy Call-in this coming week? Be a good way for us to take our minds off the election stuff and prepare for it the following week. We could do it like the previous Call-in and maybe even use the TYT Discord for some of it

I’m wondering though since there’s the Cenk vs. Santos debate if there will be an Operation Joy this tonight. My guess would be no, but I guess we’ll see. Maybe George Santos getting his ass handed to him by Cenk will be our moment of joy for this week!

My hubs doesn’t watch TYT as regularly (or religiously, it’s debatable) as I do, but he actually watched the Santos debate without me, and he loved watching Cenk hand Santos his ass.

That’s great to hear he caught the debate with Santos, and watched it on his own even though you weren’t there to encourage/convince him to.
The debates really are bringing both occasional/sometimes TYT viewers and completely new folks in, imo.
I convinced my sister to watch the night where Cenk debated 7 MAGA folks (including Mike Pillow) and she said she really enjoyed it and thought both Cenk and occasionally the MAGA folks made interesting points — she’s definitely on the Left but doesn’t follow politics much so I think she hadn’t heard about a lot that was discussed.

Hey Andrea, how is it going? I’ve been somewhat secluded and down mentally. That and dealing with pain 24/7. But I always pick myself back up so , to answer your question , I haven’t seen anybody for a while . I did enjoy the last town hall with Kara running it, there was a lot of meaningful input from everybody and it was extraordinarily civil. We have a lot of good people.
