If your frame is progressives and republicans share the things in common like what opinions are linked that article. I would rebut that on some grounds.
There is a consensus on the plight of each party being common between them. If you take that article to mean progressives can’t persuade conservatives with the methods posted above? I must say were are at the impasse again.
The path seems clear to me Justice Independents, Progressives, and Republicans. Core valued in TYT philosophy.
Since you have essentially devolved into gish gallop rhetoric, I am just going to respond to you with the above phrase (when I have a chance), since the best method to dealing with gish gallop rhetoric is to disengage. @ anybody else, if I am not around to respond, can you respond with the aforementioned phrase on my behalf? I have stuff to do.
This has been interesting. I will be finishing @enduser 's linked article (I started this afternoon) and I have an opinion, but it is based on the half of the article without the war references, so I’ll be checking if afterwards I end up changing my opinion.
I think I can chime in in a way we can have the common agreement we have. I say this as third observer but also part of the discussion.

I also want to mention, that I hadn’t opened @vanidackp 's link, but My interest is upon knowing that there were references to some raw data that I can analyze myself and then meta analyze vs theirs and other analyses in the media (with or without that those datasets). It is a behavior that I don’t condone (concluding with the headline only) and that I am going to criticize on subsequent replies. So far, I’ve seen the headlines for the 50 things in common and see why you think of superfluos things in common: the article mostly includes those and some obvious common ground.
I also found value on the input you gave, and that angle will be taken into account for the analysis we are going to make. (because @enduser has showed interest in collaborating). @vanidackp Can we count on you feedback? maybe when assigning a weight value to the bread-n-butter issues: This what I intended with the ranked choice voting but the community has yet to revive: we are working on it.
I’ve read the whole thing now. I changed my mind but just a bit. I haven’t told any of you which one is my position, but I am about tu make myself go to bed. I owe 2 responses on this topic: I don’t even need to put it on my backlog because of how interesting it has been. I think this has also been productive, but I’ll show tomorrow first thing in the morning.
I might be watching the republican debate. Cenk will be there with Marianne and Dean Phillips
