1 issue does not move a movement forward

This is my advice for TYT hosts.

I was a active member of the 1960’s anti war movement. Our largest mistake was to think anti war was the only issue. The result was a distavorous loss in 1972 which eventually led to Reagan and the current state of the USA. Many of us have been called binary brained because we are skeptical of an alliance with MTG etc. While I am just as horrified by the actions of Israel and AAIPAC, I for one will never vote against any candidate who I agree with on 9 of 10 issues but does support Israel.

I am not naive enough to think that the DNC is not corrupt and in the hands of the Epstein class. That being said it will take the end of Citizens United and at least a decade after to change this fact. The Civil rights movement was a long slow process with discipline not bravado and screaming.

TYT hosts are looking for a quick fix to a problem that took decades to occur.

Patience…organization…collaboration

I watched Tim Miller from the Bulwark dismantle Josh Gottheimer over the Iran war. Yet TYT hosts refer to the Bulwark and like organizations not as allies but enemies. TYT hosts also see left organizations like Indivisible , CAP, or Common Good to soft to their views.

My suggestion for TYT be a leader in the new left. Accept differences and focus on the agreements.

TYT proposed the Populist Plank which is a great blueprint for going forward but has thrown it into the trash to become a one issue organization.

i think its acceptable to have red lines.

for instance i won’t support anyone that has committed genocide. if a candidate for office had committed genocide i would become a single issue voter on that issue. though i do have other issues that are important to me they don’t really make a difference compared to the genocide that candidate has committed. i think it’s like that

And I assume that you feel any candidate who voted for funding Israel is guilty of genocide him or her self. We know Massie is against Israel funding and we also know he opposes the Populist plank. His Dem opponent does support the Populist Plank but may vote for funding of Israel. I assume you would vote for Massie

i think voting to give funds to a country committing genocide is supporting genocide. i won’t vote for anyone supporting genocide. regardless of name or affiliation
