State Captains for Operation Hope would serve as local anchors who connect national strategy to on-the-ground organizing, coordinating volunteers, pressuring lawmakers, and ensuring the Populist Plank is advanced in their state.

In moments of violence, we choose clarity:

Operation Hope was founded on the idea that ordinary people can work together to win change without hatred or violence. We refuse to let today’s tragedy be twisted into another excuse to pit neighbor against neighbor. Our work is rooted in building hope, not fueling fear. Tonight, let’s ground ourselves in that: how we respond—in our language, in our organizing, in our presence—will show the difference between those who exploit a crisis and those who rise above it.
