There has been a narrative that many Repub voters will inevitably convert to Dem choices since Trump has been such a disaster. NOT TRUE. Many notable Repubs are going Indie now, given that they find the Israel First thing in both parties, Repub+Dem, to be so noxious.
Keep backing Israel First, Dems; see how that works out for you. Some are being misled by Israel-Firsters; others don’t care -for them, it’s just about the donor checks.

Maybe if many of the Dems ballasted Israel First, they would be doing a whole lo better…
My forecast is that Trump and team will have at least moderate success with their effort to steal the 2026 midterms, and this will help keep Trump in power.
If Democrats achieve a majority in the House, then it will be narrower than if the voting process had been fair, and if they achieve a majority in the Senate then it will not be close enough to the 60 they would need to convict Trump, even if somehow there are a small number of Republicans who vote to convict. It might still be possible to remove Trump by Impeachment, but only if, somehow, more Republicans remember what it was like to act on principle. We should keep in mind that those Republican candidates who have Trump’s backing have very likely been vetted by Trump to be loyal not to the Constitution, but to him personally, and specifically with respect to the issue of Impeachment, no matter how much this damages the Constitution.
I believe that Trump is on record (I don’t remember where this came up though, perhaps someone repeating what they had heard him say privately?) as saying that if the necessary majorities are achieved in the house, then he would then soon be impeached. Anyone who opposes Trump should consider the lengths that he will go to, to prevent this. He already tried to steal the 2020 election, not only with his goons that attacked our Capitol in a highly-planned effort, but also with multiple major efforts, at least one dating back years, to undermine the voting system including culling legitimate voting registrations and thus preventing many Americans (I’m not sure how many, there are differing estimates I believe), from casting votes at all. Those who were prevented from voting by these methods are often disproportionately minorities, and disproportionately would have voted against Trump. If TYT has not done much coverage of this issue of Trump’s multi-pronged methods for corrupting the upcoming vote (and I do not believe they have) then perhaps Dr. Rashad Richey could take up the mantle, as he often covers minority issues that have gone under-covered elsewhere.
And yes, another key method that Trump followed in 2020, and which he is following in 2026, is hijacking our US Postal system so that it will not deliver mail-in ballots.
One of Trump’s great successes, which even Resistance Media have largely failed to attempt to counter, is that he has largely reframed the discussion around the corrupting of our voting system. Virtually everything that Trump and his supporters talk about with respect to voting system integrity involves their making up stories and data that undocumented immigrants and others have illegally voted. There is almost no discussion of the multiple methods that Trump is employing to actually illegally take away our voting rights. I hope that TYT will up its coverage of this dastardly long-planned highly-motivated sleazy and to some degree clever effort by Trump.
