The Magna Carta in 1215 AD established the rights of habeas corpus and lawful governance that sprang up to inspire the Constitution and Bill of Rights. For the last 300 years we looked up to this noble idea, even if it didn’t always worked. In present day , we have ostensibly lost these rights. Our three branches of government don’t function properly because the depraved will of. a president in name only , with his rich benefactors, have subverted the Courts and Congress, rendering them impotent. Plans to invade and attack 7-8 countries { as is Israel } by any standard , both domestic and internationally is wrong. Trump , like Caligula and Nero is drunk on power , plus providing attention away from his sex crimes with underage girls. If Congress or anybody doesn’t push back, we must accept that a nation of no laws is not a Democracy. We are in 1984 times as depicted by George Orwell. It’s a damn shame really since it’s been 250 years that we shook from the shackles of a former king. Jack Callahan
