I just want an opinion from fellow TYTers…trying to avoid radicalisation and over dramatics but where to go from here. Ive got friends and family who go to vegas for the NRL and some have already bought tickets to next years events… bad idea?
The last thing id want is AUS to ban tourism to and from etc but like whats the next step? Other aussies are already blatantly saying its a war crime and our PM needs to (and probably will) speak out.

Burtsplurt , I was absolutely horrified to see ban Aussie reporter hit by our law enforcement. It’s despicable and abhorrent. ICE started this and it blew up to ordering the National Guard. If you have friends coming here , just be aware. I don’t know if Australia is on the travel ban , I would doubt it, but you deserve as a tourist to be safe coming to this country. I hope you guys get an apology because that action was wrong and shouldn’t happen. Jack

The US is (in my opinion) on a descent into a violent authoritarian stage which is post-Constitution-as-we-know-it, and post-rule-of-law. I’m not sure which TYT hosts have looked at this, or to what extent. [edited] I have asked (even pleaded with) TYT to have on the air some of the world’s top experts in these matters (such as Dr. Timothy Snyder) but I don’t know if they have taken the suggestion. Maybe some of the TYT hosts are calling out this descent for what it really is, with or without expert guests, though I think it’s critical to invite on Snyder and other experts to give the audience the full picture.
Sending a reporter here at this point is (in my opinion) like sending a reporter to Germany circa 1934 or 1936 or later. You can probably do it, but it’s a bit more dangerous than your average assignment (and being a journalist is, overall, a dangerous occupation already).
A book that I’ve read a few chapters of, which seems on the money so far, and gives a bit of a roadmap as to what the overthrowers of the Constitution are after, is called Democracy In Chains. I don’t agree with everything, but it gives me a sense of how Project 2025 and the like are on-track, and how the ultimate goal appears to include some sort of Constitutional Convention where that wil be explicitly the end of the Constitution as we know it. On a more immediate note, I don’t know which TYT hosts have taken a look at the Big Beautifl Bill, but I’d like to have more of the facts as to what is actually in there that is intended to further the undercutting of our basic laws and society. I’m sure some of this has been covered, but I just haven’t had time to watch much lately.

It is fair for us to ask the question, under the Trump-the-Constitution-Wrecker-usurper takeover regime, what is the risk of posting here (whether under a pseudonym or not) or anywhere else on the internet? And what is the risk of the Trump regime eventually trying to crack down on TYT itself?
I think eventually what will happen is that when the government comes after some of us, it will use our social media posts as an argument against us in some way.

Ive wondered what the AUS gov will do if trump declares TYT a terrorist entity(give it i reckon 5 years or less if he legit takes over) our privacy laws are so strong but over there itd be different i guess. We will all have to start with getting a good VPN plus what did we expect? Trying to “drain the swamp” or take on the “big state” etc is dangerous… i could piss a cop off enough theyll just plant evidence. The good side wins in the end dw peeps.
