“Without me, Trump would have lost the election…”
Against HARRIS?!
I STRONGLY doubt that!
Hey -but we will take a sociopathic bully getting checked any way we can.
My guess is that by torching Trump, he hopes to get the boycott to dampen down. Like they said in All the President’s Men: follow the money. The biggest financial loss he is seeing right now is at Tesla. He needs that boycott called off (unless he were to get A LOT in government contracts to make up for Tesla getting rekt…) The military/NASA contracts, his commissions from tech bros’ for getting BS H1Bs and the Palantir contract? Those are nothing compared to the dollar value of Tesla.
Just remember my read of the tariff decision: it was the turning point. It pierced the perception that Bunker Boy was invincible. This Musk rebellion is just speeding things up now.
Now: what to do about the Dems?! I know you want to test the definition of insanity, Cenk; but I hope Sanders stops playing possum and calls for a committee to vet an Independent alliance based on just working class and anti-pollution issues.
It’s as if a big neon billboard was flashing across America right now: “Ditch both of these sham parties; start an Independent alliance for the working class!”
Consider this: after all the insanely bad things the Repubs have done in the past ~100 days -just look at most of their Town Halls!- the Dems are polling EVEN with them!!
Are they going to take us to a victory? (for the working class?!)
Will Cenk or anyone else get them to change? After the lesson of the Harris election, I say no. As you are wont to say, Cenk: “Have at it, Hoss.” I welcome you to try, Cenk; but please: no more insane blowups this time when they do what they always do. They would sooner get a nice stipend from megacorporations and continue to risk losing than get paid honest wages for having won things for workers.
