As laid out in a recent Quincy Institute brief authored by Stephen Simon, this shift from an aid model to a military integration model has troubling implications. namely, and this is the point, quote, “The shift will strip away the political and diplomatic oversight mechanisms that make the relationship publicly accountable, moving it from a visible annual aid vote into the opaque machinery of defense acquisition, where oversight is limited and political accountability is minimal. the result would be a defense relationship that is simultaneously deeper and less transparent.”
Why are they doing this? Well, it’s obvious. They see the writing on the wall. They know if not today, tomorrow, if not tomorrow, next year, eventually you cannot have such hostility towards Israel without it producing anti-Israel politicians who win elections. and they are going to start to question the procurement of funds for Israel when the NDAAS come up. They are trying to make the move now while they have the juice, while they have the muscle before that shappens where it won’t matter. You can’t get them out of the Pentagon. It’s impossible to disentangle them from our economy, from our military, from our technology.

This is absolutely treasonous. How can something like this ever be considered an option in a bill? If this were Russia we were going to integrate with the entire Congress would revolt at the thought. Same with China, UK, India or any other country. The only reason it is even considered is because Israel owns our government.

I would say to anybody at this point that supports Trump and does not directly draw a paycheck from any of his grifts: “What X-dimensional chess game is this?? It is CLEARLY a treasonous act that Trump can’t claim to be in the dark about! And you still support him?!” The only people who would support this are those who see America as a province of Israel.
Kent is making the rounds on news shows showing this backfield in action, and rat weasels like Tulsi Gabbard (Kent’s former boss…) don’t make a peep?!
This one is such a treasonous atrocity, it calls for a soft-secession: withholding State federal tax payments until the act is ABOLISHED. It doesn’t have to be for all tax payments; it can just be the portion going to DoD. Surrendering our defense to a foreign power was NOT what they had in mind when thy formed this country!

I think a lot of service people would be justified in a termination of their stints.
This was not the proposition when they enlisted, permanently working for a foreign country!
I, (state name of enlistee), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States and of the State of (applicable state) against all enemies, foreign and domestic;
If Israel hasn’t become both a foreign and domestic enemy -I don’t know who else is!
So if we have another U.S.S. Liberty incident, how will the US straighten that out? Go to the UN??

Why is it at war? (or a much higher level of war??) Their military is renowned for violating Geneva Conventions and the ICC. So now you want to merge their criminal military operations with the US??
Add to that: note how they ignore the they’re-spying-on-our-military-even-NOW elephant in the room! Their patent playing stupid about that is embarrassing to the US to no end.
My son joined the Army and I was already disturbed by that with the “wars and rumors of wars” playing out in real time, but with American militaries integrating (with what seems to be the enemy) has got me on extreme alert. I am constantly finding updates on what the government is going to do next to sink us deeper into the hole they have already dug for us. All I can do and have been doing is pray. Pray for peace. Pray for politics and the pressure they are putting on the American people. Pray for the power to return to the American people who need our prayers even more than ever.
The original poster is correct. Integrating our militaries like this, even with a supposed “ally” is an act of treason in my book.
