Dear America,
Enough is enough.
Enough of the division.
Enough of the racism—subtle and loud, systemic and personal.
Enough of a government that is so greedy with money and power that it answers to billionaires but ignores the cries of the people.
Enough of being told we’re asking for too much when all we want is what we’ve already earned. We should not be asking permission from a government that is supposed to work for us, elected by us, to benefit us with our own money. They should listen when we tell them what we want or we VOTE THEM OUT!!!
We are not entitled because we believe our tax dollars should work for us. Wanting affordable healthcare, safe neighborhoods, clean water, livable wages, and decent schools is not entitlement—it is justice. It is basic. It is humane.
You know what is entitlement?
A government that hands out billions of our tax dollars in no-bid contracts to corporations while telling its own citizens to pull themselves up by their bootstraps.
Just look at Tesla. Look at SpaceX.
Those companies didn’t succeed in a vacuum—they were nourished by government contracts and funded by our tax dollars. Let’s not pretend that’s not welfare for the wealthy.
It’s corporate welfare wrapped in patriotism while everyday Americans are demonized for asking for a visit to the doctor that won’t bankrupt them.
We live in a country where the government gives and gives—to the rich, to defense contractors, to lobbyists and insiders—while calling social programs a burden. But let’s be honest: We already live in a socialist society—we just haven’t all been allowed to benefit from it.
Our money already pays for the police, the military, roads, bridges, social security, teachers—so why is universal healthcare the line that can’t be crossed? Why is investing in mental health, housing, and education always “too expensive,” while tax breaks for billionaires sail through unnoticed?
We’ve been protesting in the streets for generations.
We’ve marched, we’ve shouted, we’ve mourned. But it’s clear now: they hear us, but they don’t listen.
