FIRE FIVE: Cenk Puts Ben Shapiro & Co On BLAST For BLATANT Hypocrisy

Turks segment:

(I did a jump cut, to get right away to the thing I am talking about; feel free to rewind it…)
I think BOTH sides here conveyed some very valid points.

But Cenk, I’ll say it again: you need to get in touch with your inner Spock. Yeah, I get it: you’re frustrated, and wish that people adopt your strategy. But the yelling and mockery you engage in here at that jump cut -do people walk away from this with your ideas? Or do they walk away with the more unusual and voluble presentation of your argument?? I think for many: the latter! You might want to express the importance of those ideas with such emphasis, but that does not work with many people. They get so overwhelmed with your yelling, it drowns out in their impressions the ideas you are trying to convey.

My 2 cents on what is being discussed: I could be wrong, but with the MULTIPLE returnS to the scene of the tariff crime of utterly incompetent execution, I think Trump is cooked and about to be irrelevant.

I am proud to have read the tea leaves correctly in previous posts here on Roberts, ACB, and Kavanaugh having had enough. It’s much too awkward for the Repubs that Bunker Boy is now fighting a court HE had picked and the Repubs had endorsed.

I had feared a military junta as a worst case scenario, and he sure can still try to do it, in much the same way as he had instigated J6; but Hegseth was too incompetent to convert the military overnight to a Waffen SS (praise the Lord!) So I think praising Trump when he [often accidentally] does the right thing is about to be a moot strategy. I always think when he happens to do the right thing that the interests of Americans are best served by acknowledging for the record that the action was a good one. The truth is the truth, and it is best that we arrive on a consensus for it. But with Trump on his way to irrelevance, I think complementing him won’t get us anything at this point.

So the good news is: he looks like he is about to be history. My guess is he is planning to eventually jump to Dubai. The bad news is he will leave behind a disaster area, consistent with his malevolent and sadistic tendencies to see others suffer. He’s one sick puppy, and he feels better about himself when he sees others suffering, no matter how inconsequential they are to him.

Oh, and the other bad news: we are not getting a political alliance outside of the Dem and Repub parties (through the Independent party…) to represent the working class and motivate voters to support such a political venture. After having suffered through this autocrat, the corporations and billionaires who got us here will be perpetually running the show, until the system completely locks up under their greed…

He did the right thing here (see?) Prodding the EU to throw down more for defense was also a reasonable ask made by the Trump team.

The Dore Show has signed on to an anti-Ukraine defense assistance position. They dismiss all such efforts as merely the execution of a neocon agenda. But it’s pretty clear that Putin wants a do-over on the Soviet Union, by means of violence. Europe can’t accept that; it’s an obvious replay of the Hitler agenda (Godwin’s Law notwithstanding…) The fact that Putin can’t accept a security assurance of European forces (through NATO or another mechanism…) is an obvious tell that he won’t quit until he gets back ALL former Soviet States. Stalin was a paranoid nut; it’s the reason the states of the Soviet Union wanted out when the wall came down (but pity the Clintons didn’t do a Marshall plan…)
