There is a nation wide protest in many US cities this Saturday , April 5 , 2-5 pm in New Orleans. This is a non-violent protest of Trump/Musk taking over our government from the grass roots level. You can Google Hands Off ! for a location near you. Jack

Yeah, we’re going to the one in Nashua. It’s literally within walking distance of our house. Weather is supposed to be shitty, but not enough to keep us away!

I was present in the Yakima Hands Off! rally on Saturday. I saw less than a half dozen birds/thumbs down and many, many, many more people honking in support, flashing peace signs 
, love you’s 
and their own signs including a Missing! poster featuring Dan Newhouse. Rep. Newhouse (R - WA04) has not held a town hall or public event since Jan 20. I can’t imagine why

HandsOff!-The Day After
I am genuinely surprised that on Monday’s TYT main show and the Bonus episode there was no mention of up to a million people across the nation protesting the Trump regime. Nothing. At last week’s town hall I informed Cenk and later that night posted on this site where to find info. If you remember, the day after the first Trump inauguration , there was a huge Woman’s Day march in Washington, DC which drew a huge crowd but only in DC. On this past Saturday, people protested in ALL states. The crowds protested against government intrusion of Social Security , mass layoffs , Vets jobs , Gaza , funding Israel , Musk and everything else we see demolished on a daily basis. We are told that TYT is a news oriented , progressive platform . Excuse me , but isn’t a huge nationwide protest news. Yes . it’s the first we have seen, but it’s a positive sign that could be expanded on . The important thing is that people are coming together against the zeitgeist of approaching fascism. I know other progressive platforms { Breaking Points , Kyle and friends , etc } had coverage . I don’t understand why this is not considered news worthy. I understand that there are a million stories to be covered , but some have been covered already ad nauseam .I applaud Cenk for what he does and have praised him directly. Plus, on my suggestion, the last town hall was much longer than usual . Thank you for that. It helped clear things up internally among the members. On the other hand , during Monday’s show on the chat , many members were wondering where the coverage was for HandsOff! Even eclecticmisc , a really smart fellow who makes excellent comments in the chat { Cenk reads his comments out all the time } was asking what we can do immediately after the protests , to save the nation. The Populist Plank is an excellent starting point , but time is not on our side. My reason for writing this is that this story should have been covered , that’s it. I mean no ill will , I love TYT. If other nationwide protests happen please mention them. Thanks , Jack

My doctors haven’t let me watch the news yet (I’ve snuck a teeny tiny bit in), so I didn’t realize this; that’s very disappointing. The protests should have been a huge story—there were literally protests in all 50 states and around the world! Did they cover it today? I so miss the chats during the show! I hope you are doing well, Jack!

I did see a few people carrying signs outside a mcdonald’s (I didn’t eat there) saying “hands off” this and “hands off” that. I applaud the effort.
Andrea , no, nothing. It must be an executive decision from Cenk not to report it, but for the life of me, I can’t figure out why. There were a lot of people live on the chat Monday during the show wondering why nothing was mentioned . I watched Kyle Kulinski’s show on Youtube , and he was all over it for 2. days . I hope you are healing , Jack
