Listening to this author interview (linked below), I was struck by how well it clarifies our US economic imperialization. Essentially, we (the US) used to be a British colony, but currently we are increasingly colonializing Britain’s economy in return. By revealing processes of that economic dynamic, the author exposes not only how our US is imperially colonializing economy globally, but further they expose how those same economic patterns also impoverish our own US economy here at home.
By exposing those things through an international lens, this could be a good way to share the truth of the matters, especially with those otherwise politically uninclined towards our progressive perspectives and analyses.
