Does TYT pay attention to this page at all? We are all supporters of progressive policies and we spend time and energy contributing to this page. Is there any indication the higher ups at TYT are actually paying attention?
I reckon they do dw. You see numerous times when Cenk has even said outright that he appreciates all the effort for example Dream puts into the discussion boards. Even imo reference discussions and/or quotes you all have said on here.
Imagine if they replied to everyone on here, people would spam them and it would take all day. Plus if they responded to one person and ignored the rest you can totally imagine paid members would feel favourites are played and etcetc
Theyre busy homie maybe itd be cool if a specific employees job was to reply to everyone on here and relay info
As has been noted before, it would help if each segment they did on youtube had a dedicated topic for it created on this board.
Why not just post on the youtube comments? They shadowban there; this happened to me a few times. Youtube pulled a comment of mine with a link to an article with unflattering stats for Biden/Harris. You spend a lot of money on google and youtube advertising for a political campaign, that’s the sort of service you get.
An added benefit they get by doing that is honest feedback on their work. It’s harder to do a bot here than on youtube…
If you value something you pay attention to it, you nurture it, you interact with it. I don’t see any of the higher ups of TYT doing much of these here.
I’ve never seen or heard any evidence that Cenk and Ana look at our comments here. They also talk about the feedback they get from the audience but NEVER tell us the best way to reach them. Like where they do check for member comments. You can kinda guess from where they hint at, but it sure would be nice for some clarification. I listened closely for years for this info on the show, in vain.
We need to feel valued.
That all makes sense and is totally understandable. My guess is that the hosts pay more attention to the discussion boards than we might think, but probably less than we might like. To be fair, it’s hard for me to keep up with these!
YouTube does the same thing reddit moderators do. You get caught saying the wrong thing and they take away your ability to say it
If you were responding to me: so “the wrong thing” is linking to objective facts and statistics that might be unflattering for a candidate who pays for ad buys on their platform? Because if that is the case, that’s why we need to post here and not youtube…
