Trump probably thinks he is doing something actually productive. The actual politicians are installing a dip shit so that the executive branch fails, just like 5 other of his companies have. That way, the republicans can say “See how federal government has failed? Things need to back to states.”.
It doesn’t have to go back to individual States. We can fix the design flaws of the US and leave the cracker States and others to their own devices (not that everyone in a cracker state are crackers, but we all know a majority are -minorities can relocate to a newly formed Union…)
Think about it: the Repubs and oligarchs will never, ever allow the design flaws to be addressed, since they serve them; so break off from them and start a new country.
And nothing says the outcome HAS TO be two countries; perhaps there are three, four…whatever schools of thought.
I discuss it more on this thread:
Hey: if Roberts, ACB, and the majority of Repubs shock me and rein in this clown, maybe we can stick it out for now. But absent that, with lawlessness sanctioned by the Kangaroo Court and DOJ, the entire idea of the “United” States is a pretty ludicrous one. United on the principle of lawlessness being OK? That the law is about being in a club of gangsters??
I think the major difference between the two major parties is:
- Democrats try to hide the terrible things they do
- Republicans don’t feel the need to hide and are proud of it
Oh the Republicans are very good at messaging their base too. They have no problems selling an anchor to a sinking ship.
That is one of the major differences. Another is that Dems seek to lull their base into a false sense of security, while Repubs look to rile up their base against marginalized, vulnerable populations. Both parties are complicit, the grift is just different. But that difference MAKES a difference for folks like me.
I read that as “Dems seek to LOL @ their base into a false sense of security”
