Trump’s Israeli funding announcement yesterday was a clear-cut indication that Schumer and Jeffries will now attempt to ram through the NDAA (Trump and Nutanyahoo were saying something about year-end, so I guess that means in the current congressional session…)
Most Americans have no idea what the “NDAA” is, and what it means: an attempt to allow unlimited funding of Israeli war atrocities (“Shhh…it’s a defense secret; we can’t tell you what was done!”)
I implore you to do an ad similar to the one you did for Sayed, using the same sarcastic style, and run it until a vote for NDAA fails (or the Israelis succeed in a long-term co-option of our representational democracy…)
The objective of such an ad is to get people not to vote, but to flood the inboxes and voicemail of their Senators, and to also possibly call for protests and strikes/slowdowns before the Senate holds a vote on it. I would recommend you collaborating with Wajahat Ali on mechanisms to contact Senators; it appears he has some good practical experience doing that. He could assist you with a websiite (prominently linked to in the ad…) and database to route people to their Senators, and guide them on what to say (not a form Email -those get ignored!)
