BERNIE: ARE YOU ORGANIZING AN INDEPENDENT ALLIANCE OF REPRESENTATIVES FOR CONGRESS, OR NOT? I THINK WE’RE DONE “STUDYING” THE OBVIOUS PROBLEM…
Been saying income inequality is the biggest issue except for campaign finance for 10 years. Will anyone finally listen to Bernie?
Now we have to act outside of the Dem Party; he’s the only one who could get it rolling though, given his former campaign network.
So he needs to kick it off already! Time is wasting for setting up the petitions to ballot 2026 Independent candidates for the House. He has to define with others a concise hitlist of working class policies, and a vetting mechanism to eject candidates who don’t stay true to it…
I agree with you, Patrie. Way too much time has elapsed. Bernie has plodded on a long time and has not organized the left to any degree. Why not? He’s been around long enough to realize that working within the existing political structure isn’t going to cut it.
Cenk and Bernie should be working together to form an effective political organization of progressives. Clamoring over the tv, etc. is not going to get the job done either. If the Green party and the other 5 or more parties that have managed to get on election ballots, certainly a Progressive party could do it. Collectively, those other parties don’t get 3% of the total votes. That’s pathetic, but better than the 0% that progressives get now.
We better act. The window is closing.
Let us know if you’re going to do an Independent alliance Bernie -or continue to rearrange deck chairs on the Dem Titanic…
Time to call for it, Bernie; let’s start harvesting the signatures to get Indepependant House candidates balloted that ascribe to a shortlist of working class objectives. You have the loyalty and trust of your former campaign workers to pull it off. We sure as hell don’t…
I would wager that if all of these third-party choices banded together the numbers they would amass would actually be exponential!
