The Corrupt Corporate Dem Party is responsible for the hated Hillary campaign of 2016. They are also responsible for the first 4 years of Trump and everything he did. The Corrupt Corporate Dems gave to “the soul of America,” the bloodthirst for supporting a genocide. The CORRUPT Corporate Dems are responsible for losing to Trump again and they will be responsible for the atrocities he commits as the first convicted criminal president. People should drop the Dem registration and register Justice For All Party. The Justice Dems should leave the Corrupt Corporate Dems now and lead! Another vote for a Hawktua Corporate Jeffries is a vote for corruption. Nominate Dr. Cornel West for Speaker if we take The House in 2026!
We need to get behind whoever has the best chance of an electoral win outside the two owned parties.
It’s a bet: the Dem Party owners (not a minority of hard-working members like Beshear and Porter…) are now severely discredited in addressing working class concerns given that the choice they had coronated offered jack shit on the campaign trail -stop trying to change the subject to Biden didn’t get out soon enough or a woke agenda, corporate media and Repub outlets; it was Harris’ calculated decision to offer jack shit in terms of POLICY, never mind guaranteed deliverables. The buck stops there! The Repubs will also be discredited IF they hit the wall with external reality in ~2 years (as Trump has IN EVERY SINGLE ONE OF HIS "“BUSINESSES” TO DATE…) Surprisingly I see a few non-crazy appointments right now; but if those appointees do a great job and get a lot of praise, they will meet the same fate as Rex Tillerson and be replaced by someone completely incompetent (Trump doesn’t like someone getting more attention than him, right?)
Perot got about 20% in '92. So if both parties are discredited, you would have a situation that you did not have in '92 and could conceivably pull off 51% (<joke>and we won’t have to get bad haircuts!</joke> -sorry, couldn’t help myself; an old Perot joke…)
I welcome you to support your pick; but I can’t see it happening without a raft of candidates for the President, Senate, and House whose first allegiance is to rectifying issues faced by the working class (living wages, better labor rights, employee retention, and accredited education/training…), followed closely by the address of ecological issues and constructive foreign policy. That job description of addressing worker issues was never met by the Green Party. We need a new pro-working class raft coming in by starting petitions NOW to place them on the Independent ticket.
Such a strategy, as I have previously and soberly said, depends on your belief as to whether this country’s representational government survives +4 years of Captain Chaos and avoids an overnight transition to a banana republic; that’s a very debatable point! A majority of justices on the Supreme Court already are sporting fruit hats.
It’s all about the rule of law; MAGAs are seeking to convert laws to elective customs (provided you throw down a bribe to the Party in power…)
Bernie: would you sign on to endorsing such an undertaking?
I can boil it down to this: huge corporations want cheap labor; so they will always promote economic policies where a worker is terrorized by being one paycheck away from ruin. [WE NOW KNOW] The Dem owners will sooner hand a presidential win over to whoever they happen to be running against than give up some of their profits to an improved standard of living for their workers. So all the efforts of the present [CORPORATE] owners of the Dem Party will never amount to more than kabuki theater and miniscule window dressing.
So the only possible solution is a legal one, by means of the Independent balloting system. Sure: they will spare no quarter trying to outlitigate petition attempts to get pro-working class reps balloted. But it’s more productive to be fighting that than another rinse+repeat of kabuki theater whenever MAGAs realize that Trump was a raw deal for them -and then what will be the other SINGLE CHOICE of corporations for them on the next election ballot?
I am 100% in support of concentration of our vote to whoever the most popular third party nominee, but i think the key is to take seats in the House. If we could all meet, in a convention of sorts every two years. In the Hall of some big hotel, we could have our first biannual meeting to discuss a strong third party vote across the USA regardless of who’s running. Anything but a Corporate Dem/Republican.
The key here is to shame anyone who voted for Hillary or Biden in the Dem primaries.
Common Sense Bernie had the right idea. Let’s actually try to exercise American largess in a positive direction. We could be building the Renewable Energy infrastructure of the future right now. With everyone getting paid well enough to create the largest middle class ever. We just gotta tax the rich a little bit.
You should know by now: THE CORPORATE OWNERS OF THE DEM PARTY HAVE NO SHAME. They don’t care; how else to explain the brazen refusal of blameless Kamala to offer jack shit on job security and toning down the WWIII?? Biden didn’t have a sniper rifle to her head. She was told: hey: do what we say and, worst case, even if we’re wrong and you lose, you’ll have a very comfy position at a foundation (or whatever…)
There won’t ever be progressive taxation [like was the case in the Eisenhower era -sheez!] ping-ponging between these two sham parties.
You have to grab election power now by the only route left open.
[IF you believe the country will not be 100% banana republic in 4 years…]
Right. That’s why i think Justice Dems should join Dr. Cornel West in the Justice For All Party and write out an actual progressive policy that looks out for the people not the donors and corporations. #CorporationsAreNotPeople
I think Sanders would have to endorse this for it to have a chance. He would be respected by many [eventually] disenfranchised MAGAs, especially after he called out the Dem Party for offering jack shit…
I thought Bernie should have started his own party after 2016. What third parties are doing now is obviously not winning anyone anything coming out presidential election years only. I think the focus should be The House. With a small amount of seats we could decide Speakership. Imagine Dr. Cornel West, Speaker of The House of Representatives. Imagine Nina Turner, or Representative Crockett as Speaker. progressives who got elected as Justice Dems owe us a fight for our future. I think the window will close if we let the weak incompetent impotent Corrupt Corporate Dem Blue Dog sons of bitches keep losing to Republican Reds
I had to look up what Kabuki theater specifically meant, and you’re totally right (and funny, especially when you think about it in a literal sense). Now I totally want to spend a day watching Kabuki! That would be super fun!
I love Turner and Crockett! They should do a YouTube show (or a police procedural drama set in the 70s–I’d totally watch both!). And, obviously, I love West; they would make the House something we could actually be proud of!
Right, not party leadership, the actual voters. The old timer Dems who just watch the TV box.
Omg, let me know where. I’ll bring a picnic basket.
Omg, speaking of police procedural dramas. It’s a bit dark but True Detective made me think of how awesome it would have been if the Justice Dems nominated Mathew McConaughey for Speaker in a Republican controlled House. OMG the freaking Republican sycophants who just want to follow an alpha would wet their pants at a chance to vote for a good looking Hollywood Republican.
Seriously, that would be amazing!
True Detective is so frickin’ good, and Matthew McConaughey is the best! Have you watched all of the seasons? I hope they do another one, maybe in the style of Kabuki.
No haven’t yet, just finished the first one and taking some time to process it before i move on to the second. it’s nice knowing it doesn’t decline in quality as they roll along. Mathew McConaughey in real life though seems like someone Joe Rogan might get behind. He’s a best example of “masculinity” that the Republicans would ever be able to put up and follow orders from as they love to do with their leaders. And he would make leftist not concerned about their safety, he has never called people “vermin” to my knowledge.
I totally agree! With True Detective, the second season isn’t as good, in my opinion, as the first, but it’s good. The third and fourth pick up again. It’s interesting how they’re all super different. You’ll have to let me know what you think.
