Without a large scale protest we are going to experience pressure few can imagine. It is time to come together. One thing that disgusts me is all the infighting on the left. It never ceases to amaze me how many folks on the left can simultaneously carry a grudge, and also claim they are alone the purveyors of truth.
Lets get over it, I don’t want to see anymore about how Cenk has lost his way for talking to those in the middle. Attempting to get them to see a broader picture. By the same token I don’t want to see Cenk anymore talk about the far left and their insanity for their dogged fixation on their positions. This reminds me of the 90’s republican hate radio space when moderates and far right went after one another.
As someone that listens to both sides I promise you’re both wrong.
Often you’re both correct, and by the same token you can both cherry pick one another’s arguments to make a case for your point of view. Neither side has a right to hold on to this grudge, and fight over the perceived shrinking audience space.
The truth is this is a self fulfilling prophecy, neither camp has the time to cover the news, and one another hot takes without compromising one of the two.
Doesn’t it seem odd that the infighting gets the most engagement?
Could it be your being incentivized to have a battle royal by the platform you are compensated by?
Viewership would rise if you quit this infighting and came together over common purpose. Subscription revenue has far exceeded a saturation point across all media spaces. How many subscription do you think the average person can maintain?
This fighting is causing division that we will not recover from. Time is of the essence, and these squabbles fracture unity.
We sorely cannot afford this to happen in this moment.
You will never attract support we need to garner, when progressive media hosts are talking past one another.
Sure you can turn the far left into a boogie man just as they can point to your actions as a tacit approval of malicious actors.
The truth is all sides are putting personal gain above the good of the collective. This needs to stop or we are all going to suffer the same horrific fate. If we don’t stop this madness, and make efforts to come together greed will deconstruct us before we have a chance to resist.
This will make me very sad, and hand a victory to those that we cannot afford to submit to.
So please Sam, Cenk, Ana, Francesca, Emma, John (sorry John I thought you would feel left out if I didn’t include you) knock off the bs, and please play nice with one another.
The country really needs you right now.

They called them fools, those men of old,
Who dared to dream, to break the mold.
Who saw not chains, but hands unbound,

A farmer’s son once dared to claim,
That kings were false, their crowns but names.
