I tried Shopify once; it sucked. The customer support also sucked.
Square Space would be better. Yes, you will spend money on having to migrate. But to stay on Shopify is to be a hypocrite if the creator is fundamentally averse to principles of representational democracy and will spend his money supporting the suppression of that.
You have the budget to migrate off it.
A heavier lift that’s open source (no lock-in) is processwire…
Until this is sorted out, you should at least address on a show what remediation is being taken (maybe post on this forum??)
Still promoting it, Cenk? I can understand you using it while you take some time to cut in another software system, but advertising for it is hypocritical. Did you lock in on a contract to promote it? You’d have to be able to get out of it given your mission statement…
