Thank you Joe Biden

While I can’t come to understand many things you have done in your presidency.

I am grateful for your wisdom and grace regarding Leonard Peltier, and Julian Assange.

You were put into many difficult positions, I appreciate that. While I wish events unfolded differently. Being president means some folks will be displeased with your actions.

Money in politics is a huge priority for politics to return to normalcy. Our single biggest priority must be voting rights. If not for voter suppression we would have a first female president. A voting rights act not passing to preserving our access to the ballot was a disgrace.

In the next two years we must force justice regarding polling places and voting rights. We cannot compromise, we cannot allow fear to stop us. We must use all avenues at our disposal. We have a little less than 2 years. Volunteer as a poll worker, occupy election boards, pass piecemeal voting right act in local governments.

We must also preserve integrity of voting machines by creating redundant, and auditable paper records.

If this is not done we will collectively have a very dark future.

All former presidents must be part of this effort. If you truly believe in the office and wish to persevere your legacy you must use your political capital. You must work together to make this happen. A bi-partisan effort by former presidents would be a strong signal, we the people are stronger together than divided.
