The People’s March Weekend of Action

The People’s March Weekend of Action
Saturday, January 18, 2025

The People’s March Weekend of Action is coming up, and I’m seriously considering participating. The TYT audience has always been a leader in challenging the status quo and fighting for systemic reform—this is a perfect opportunity to take that energy into the streets (or online!) and connect with others who share our vision for change.

It’s a great opportunity to see who else is out there fighting for the same things and to build momentum for the future we all want. If you can’t make it in person, there are virtual options too, so you can still be part of the action from wherever you are.

For those of us involved in Operation Hope, this is also a chance to find allies and partners who believe in the same values we’re working toward—justice, equity, and building a future that works for everyone. Whether it’s amplifying the populist plank or strengthening grassroots connections, this is a moment to engage.

Thanks for posting this. I checked again and there’s still no action planned for the Memphis TN area yet. We had a big action here for the Women’s March to protest against Trump’s first inaugural in 2017 (the first protest my daughter ever attended!) so I’m hoping one is in the works. I don’t have any experience or the right skillset to organize something like this but hope to attend in person or virtually.

This is great!!! I will be at the Newark NJ rally and march as a Tri-Chair for NJ Poor Peoples Campaign and a Solidarity Singer for the 11:30 portion. If any of you are from NJ please come out. And i would love to meet you.

I’m not sure if LA will still be having marches but next weekend is a whole week away, so we will see.

Who went? My health was an issue so I stayed home.

I’m sorry to hear you’re not feeling well! My health kept me at home, too, and it was -30° (with wind chill, which means that’s what it feels like), so that wouldn’t have been great for my heart anyway. I hope you’re feeling better.
