Update on The 75, a Money Out of Politics Coalition

We wanted to give everyone an update on The 75 and its progress. If you aren’t familiar with The 75, we are a new coalition formed out of Operation Hope in Oct/Nov '24, working with the shared goal of getting big money out of politics. Our action plan is fairly comprehensive as you will see below. Being connected and working together with Operation Hope and TYT is very important to us.

Progress… Created idea, posted to operation hope message/mentioned on group call, found teammates, created charter-strategy-action plan, created website, connected with organizations in the space, set up social media accounts/initial postings, team campaign building training, found more teammates, and now looking to move to phase II or our 2nd quarter of action.

Up Next…

    • Grassroots Podcast - discussing the Issue and providing a platform for GR candidates
    • Letters to Leadership - a respectful campaign to receive responses from leadership on the Issue
    • Social Media Launch- various campaigns discussing the Issue, including respectful public messages to politicians. Provide public transparency of actions and progress, and make the journey into a story. Leverage 50th Anniversary of Buckley v Valeo and 250th Anniversary of America.
    • Coalition Building -
      a. GR Candidate Community with those that want to organize around the Issue
      b. Unions, NPOs, Universities connecting on the Issue
      c. Populist Rally in '26 (legalized corruption is the central issue) to bring both sides together
    • Website Resources - expand the website’s Educate, Inspire, and Empower sections with additional societal effects and IRL examples, polling, articles, etc.
    • GR Candidate Resources - curate resources for GR candidates to successful while rejecting Big Money
    • Administration of Volunteer Network
    • Branding and Approach - “Stop the Money. Stop the Swamp.” “Are you against Big Money In Politics? Are you with The 75?” " Stand Up, Speak Up, Look Up against Legalized Corruption" “Corporations are Not People, Money is Not Speech”
    • Constitutional Amendment - put forth the amendment for the American people
    • Promote The 75 on podcasts, social media, TYT and other media outlets.

We certainly have our work cut out for us but the focus is small daily progress, leading to significant monthly progress, resulting in incredible yearly progress, and eventually money out of politics. We believe it can happen!

We want to create a movement built out of Heart, Honor, and Respect to unify Americans from across the political spectrum on the Big Money in Politics Issue.

Where does boycotting fit into the plan? I think it’s necessary. If we keep feeding the beast it’s going to keep killing us.

@sciguy24 good question and thought. My initial thought is that it can be considered and discussed as we move through 2025, make progress on phase 2, and establish a broader coalition. I can see a boycott of offenders being announced at a ‘26 Rally if we felt it made sense and would be successful at that time. This is just my initial take.

Strategically speaking I don’t think there’s any other course of action. Our elected reps are not going to pass legislation that makes their corporate masters less powerful. I don’t mean this in a pious tone but this really should be common sense by now. Boycotting is the only way to move the needle on this. If we study the history of other social movements in the US over the last 100 years, they all began with boycotts. We’re in a street fight here.

@sciguy24 Going to have to respectfully disagree with you there.
The strategy we are deploying with The 75 encompasses public education, inspiration, and empowerment, in which we first elevate the issue as an actual mainstream public point of discussion and empower honest people to run for office, connect with those already running, and those currently in office.
We aim to stir a ground swell of public support by branding the issue and offering alternatives to corporate politicians in every state and federal race, thus connecting the support with voting options. A vote for or against big money.
We expect success for political candidates against big money, due to data indicating public acceptance of the issue.
Thankfully history has shown us numerous examples of people coming together and winning against a system in which they did not even have a right to vote.
We envision Americans using their right knowing which choice is for big money control and which is not. We envision this in the near future. Given the knowledge and the choice, we believe THE PEOPLE WIN.
Stay positive, keep your head up, and let the people know that WE can and will WIN this struggle. Americans will PERSEVERE.
