Updated Populist Plank form works!

That was fast — I noticed the Populist Plank message tool is updated already, and it now includes state officials (for me it included state reps and governor) and the button underneath says “Send”. I sent the message to all of them.

My US rep (Steve Cohen)’s office always responds to my messages, petitions I sign, etc. They are usually personalized to whatever issue it’s about. I doubt he personally reads them of course, but someone on his staff does. His answer to my previous message about the Populist Plank was vague, but wasn’t a stock message.

So while I don’t doubt that calling can be more effective, at least for my rep they do read the emails. Now that this is the second time he’s being contacted about it (that I know of, maybe there’s another TYT viewer in the Memphis area who’s tried!) maybe it will get put on his radar. If not, I can try calling again (I attended a phone townhall but they didn’t get to me).

Yay! Let me know what other changes need to be made. I also removed the phone number option because I am not sure why we would need to give these elected officials our numbers.
