I didn’t see the Operation Hope meeting, but the Vanguard got a hold of audio of Cenk from the meeting. I hate how they cover TYT, but just for my edification, are they being fair here or are they slamming for the clicks?
For those of us that did not go to the town hall meeting and do not want to give the Vanguard ANY clicks; what did Cenk say that they think was so bad?
I did attend the meeting, and I do not need to watch the video. Cenk has been the voice of the working class and the Progressive left for 2 decades. If you know anything, at all, about the guy, you know he is authentic. He was on a call, taking questions from the participants and encouraging activism, at like 10 pm, after everything else he does in a day. If he was bent, trust me, we would know by now. Their would be an oppo file for anyone who wanted it. So, this is total garbage. I have a theory about these attacks. They know it takes huge stones to go on right wing shows. They dont have the stones, and he makes them look bad. If we only talk to each other, how can we ever progress? We are already convinced.

Oh, I have NO DOUBT that this attack is no different than the attacks the Vanguard does on TYT daily. Was just wondering what was supposed to be so bad about what Cenk supposedly said

I’m 8 minutes in and these dumbarses have already shot in the foot twice, maybe you can spot more. Do it on YouTube incognito-mode so it won’t mess up your regular recommendations.
They always do it for the clicks, they are so desperate to put dirt on Cenk and Ana, that it makes them make silly mistakes and you can see the desperation. And I don’t say this based only on this clip.
It is a good thing that their own words can be used to prove them wrong.

I’ve watched 6 or 7 of their vids and here’s my read: they don’t really seem to say much that’s insightful, constructive, or substantive. Their political commentary is usually fairly obvious observations and cookie cutter left views. Their only bread and butter is TYT videos; taking things out of context, jumping to bs conclusions, etc. Maybe occasionally some of their criticism might have some degree of validity (like when they cover all the drama/spats TYT/Cenk/Ana have been in. Some definitely were unnecessary and counterproductive, and deserve criticism). But all they do now is just TYT TYT TYT, it’s pretty pathetic. I don’t know why people like Kyle/Krystal/Medhi give them the time of day. They have enough of a gift of gab to spin things like they’re trying to come from a good place, but I don’t buy it. Whatever their end game is, they’re not honest actors. Their channel’s mostly just hate-watch fodder for people who don’t like Cenk/Ana. And it works a little, because let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a good critique/takedown once in a while? I watch TMR’s Dave Rubin segments religiously 
But unlike those, tv’s are obvious bs drama farming.
I clicked on their video history and set it to oldest. They have a lot of vids with interesting-sounding titles (seems they were well intentioned and trying to start a progressive channel), but very low views. Then the first TYT video and boom, 10k views. Now it’s 90% Cenk/Ana bs with some other stuff sprinkled in. Their vids get enough attention that they probably do a small amount of damage. But their schtick’s gotta be getting old even for their audience.

I have no idea who or what Vanguard is, but I assume it’s some right wing reactionary media outlet. If that is correct, then take anything they say or do with some caution. If that is not correct, then they are simply trolling for attention. Cenk, at the meeting did not say anything untoward. Note that I have not seen nor will I bother to view their clip.

I personally will NOT click their videos and give them any help. That is why I asked what they were saying about Cenk. And I knew whatever it was it would be false click-bait BS

How interesting! Left wing is usually “radical” while the right (conservative) is “reactionary.” Now I am curious. What kind of Lefties are they? Certainly not Marxists. Cenk is not a Socialist so I can’t see anyone expecting him to behave like one (although I will keep trying to change his mind). Ana, I know little about except she was one of two people interviewing Richard Wolff and she asked good questions.

As I mentioned earlier, the Vanguard (or Silly & Billy, as Cenk calls them) are basically Woke Shock Jocks.
They just took snippets of what he said and mischaracterized them. It was so stupidly done that only a person with no idea what Cenk is about would ever believe them. What they are pretending he did was list a bunch of “Nazis” and then say they are not Nazis. Stupid.
Slamming for kicks, and doing it in a simplistic, amateurish way.
They’re not Lefties at all, in my opinion. Just a couple of goofballs trying to build a channel. Attacking large network like tyt causes the algorithm to elevates their posts. There is no defining principle, no political objective, just trash.
