Here’s what I want to know: these ““news”” casters at Fox who now have pivoted to this insane defense of an insane man; what war bonds are THEY buying? What sacrifices are THEY making for this incompetent execution of foreign trade policy (so bad, even Bessent is playing Sergeant Schulz about it…)
Once again: these people show they have no shame whatsoever. That ““news”” caster was told to sell that shit sandwich, and by God she wants her six figure salary to keep coming, so sell it she will!

You will note that the Dems in the Senate stood up to an effort to push back on tariffs, but a budget that allowed a reduction in medicare and SSI sailed through. What was different?
Incompetent tariffs impact the bottom lines of the corporate owners of the DNC (besides affecting workers…) Those same owners see medicare and SSI as leading to a dent in their profits (since corporate tax rates will need to go up to cover them…) The Dems see working class voters as buminskis that just need to be tricked for their votes. “Hey, what money do YOU guys give us? These corporations take care of our financial needs, so that’s who gets ALL the service!”
SIGNIFICANT changes that benefit workers will not happen until it’s done outside of both parties…
