Would you support Gavin Newsom as the Democratic nominee for President? .

No, an establishment Democrat is a guaranteed loss.
I would qualify that choice: in his case, is an eventual loss.
His policies on addressing the HOUSING (not homeless…) crisis and water infrastructure in California are failures, and will not inspire many Independents to vote for him.
Maybe he could take a position of note in a Walz administration; if you think the odds of Walz dying in term would not be great, I’d even be comfortable with him as a VP.
He should definitely keep doing the trolling; and the redistricting, until such time as the Supreme Court intervenes and makes the apportionment process relatively fair and unbiased.
I not feeling him at all, making maga sweat is always needed. But its long past time that these guys take a back seat in the party and join up with the people fighting for the working class. He reminds me of Hillary not taking Trump seriously. There are a thousand policy issues to address, hundreds of constitutional violations to attack, and dozens of literal crimes you could at least try and hold him accountable for. Instead we’re playing Uno reverse identity politics? No thank you, give me some substance, give me some principles!
It depends on who else is running and who the Republican candidate is. I’m glad for what he is doing now, but I think it’s probably motivated more from his political aspirations than courage and empathy. As a last resort I guess. I’m holding out for Jon Stewart or Bon Jovi.
