I don’t think there is one this week because of the DNC but it should get posted there when they announce the next one
I think they’re putting off the meeting for a week because of the convention, but I’m not 100% sure. I’ve missed the last couple of meetings. (Health issues, but nothing to worry about.)
I responded to you a few minutes ago but then hit “delete” by mistake. It may have posted but I don’t think so.
I had to scroll through a bunch old TH sign-in link messages, but I have registered for the Aug. 28 TH meeting. As I recall the topic didn’t excite me much but that’s ok.
I have a regular in person meeting most Wednesday evenings, but I can make exceptions once in a while.
Can you direct me to an appropriate topic site to post my views regarding genocide, and another where I can post and discuss my views about social and governmental constructs? You know, liberalism, progressivism, socialism, Marxism, communism, conservatism, economic constructs, etc.
Thanks
Make sure it’s a meeting and not a phone bank thing. I missed a couple meetings and when I signed up for the one at the end of August I think it said it was to participate in a phone bank for a ballot measure in Maine. I got out of that one and will sign up again for the next one. Sorry if I’m making this more confusing than it is.
On the contrary, I appreciate that tip because that is exactly what the August 28 topic is. What the heck is up with that? What is the purpose of that topic and why is so important about it that it, apparently, is topic that is repeated?
I will withdraw from it and wait for the next one that should be Sept. 3 or, more probably, Sept. 10.
I know it has to do with getting money out of politics. I think it is specifically trying to get a case to the Supreme Court to limit PAC contributions to $5,000. I think it’s a great thing, but I missed some meetings, so I am afraid I would be a horrible person to have on a phone bank for it. I hope you’re doing well!
